ELI delivers skilled entrepreneurs, develops small businesses and supports those small businesses to become sustainable in targeted agricultural industries. Our vision is that each small business will be sustainable and contribute to job creation and economic development in the community. Candidates are recruited to form part of the honey farmer business development programme. Students complete training with a focus on the technical aspects of bee keeping, as well as business management skills. Entrepreneurs that demonstrate commitment and tenacity are selected to be empowered to run their own small businesses.
